Privacy Policy
Last updated July 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Murray Motion Labs LLC ("Murray Motion Labs," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information in connection with the Pounz mobile application (the "App") and the website at https://pounz.app (the "Site," and together with the App, the "Services").
We built Pounz to be private by default. This policy describes what that means in practice.
The short version
- The Pounz app collects nothing. Every profile, workout, and personal record is stored only on your device. There is no account, no login, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. On the Apple App Store, our privacy label reads "Data Not Collected" — and that is accurate.
- The only personal information we ever collect is an email address — and only if you choose to give it to us by joining the launch waitlist on this website.
- We do not sell or share your personal information. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- You are in control. You can erase all app data from your device at any time, and you can ask us to delete your waitlist email at any time.
1. Who We Are
Murray Motion Labs LLC is the company behind Pounz. You can reach us at [email protected] or by mail at 438 Orleans Ave, Naperville, IL 60565, United States. Our full contact details are in Section 12.
2. Information We Collect
The Pounz app: none
The App stores all of your data — profiles, completed workouts, personal records, preferences, and settings — locally on your device using your device's built-in storage. We do not operate accounts, we do not require or offer a login, and we do not transmit your workout data to any server we control. We cannot see it, and we do not have a copy of it.
The App contains no third-party analytics, advertising networks, crash-reporting services, or social-media trackers.
If you subscribe, your payment is processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see, receive, or store your payment-card details.
This website: your email, only if you join the waitlist
The Site offers a pre-launch waitlist. If — and only if — you voluntarily submit the waitlist form, we collect the email address you enter. Along with it we store the date and time you signed up, an approximate country (derived from your network connection by our hosting provider), and your browser type, which we use only to prevent spam and abuse and to plan our launch. We do not ask for, and the form does not collect, your name, address, phone number, or any other personal detail.
The waitlist is intended for parents and other adults. Please do not submit a child's email address.
Automatically collected information
Like any website, the Site is delivered through a hosting provider (Cloudflare) that processes standard technical request data — such as your IP address — transiently to deliver pages and protect against attacks. We do not use this data to build a profile of you, and we run no third-party analytics or advertising cookies on the Site.
3. How We Use Information
We use the waitlist email address for one purpose: to notify you when Pounz launches. After that, we may occasionally email you about Pounz, and every message includes a way to opt out. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.
4. We Do Not Sell or Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the past, and we will not do so in the future. If we are ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, any transfer of information would remain subject to this policy, and we would notify you of any change.
5. Children's Privacy
Pounz is designed for young athletes, including children under 13, and their families. Protecting children's privacy is central to how the App is built:
- The App collects no personal information from children — or from anyone. All data stays on the device. There is nothing to send us, and nothing for us to store.
- A parental gate sits in front of any action that would leave the App (such as opening an exercise video), so a child cannot navigate away without an adult.
- The website waitlist is directed at parents and adults, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child through the Site.
Because the App does not collect personal information from children, the consent requirements of the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) are not triggered by ordinary use of the App. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us personal information through the website, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
6. Third-Party Services
Pounz relies on a small number of third parties, each for a specific, limited role:
- Apple App Store and Google Play — distribute the App and process all subscriptions and payments. Your payment relationship is with them, under their privacy policies.
- YouTube — some exercise demonstrations link out to videos on YouTube, always behind the parental gate. Once you follow such a link, you leave Pounz, and Google's privacy policy governs what happens there.
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and stores the waitlist email list on our behalf, acting as our service provider.
We do not integrate any advertising network, analytics SDK, marketing pixel, or social-login provider into the App or the Site.
7. How Long We Keep Information
We keep your waitlist email until launch and for a reasonable period afterward, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. Your app data lives only on your device, for as long as you choose to keep it; deleting the App, or using the in-app delete option, removes it.
8. How We Keep Information Safe
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we hold. Honestly, our strongest safeguard is that we collect almost nothing: there is no account database to breach and no workout data on our servers to steal. That said, no method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live — including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, and many U.S. states — you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. For most people, there is nothing for us to act on, because the only personal information we might hold is a waitlist email.
To exercise any right, email us at [email protected]. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. We honor browser-based Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of, but we will honor any such request regardless. If you are in the EEA or UK and believe we have processed your information unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. International Users
We operate the Services from the United States. If you join the waitlist from outside the United States, the email address you provide is processed in the United States. The App itself keeps your data on your own device, wherever you are.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and we will make material changes conspicuous. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
